Dr. Michael has been shaping leaders for over a decade. He combines his expertise in leadership coaching with extensive experience teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Kent has also facilitated training seminars and workshops for businesses, educational institutions, and religious organizations. He earned his Master of Education in Marriage and Family Counseling from the University of Montevallo and a PhD in Developmental Psychology from The University of Alabama.
Kent is the co-founder and executive director of the Alabama Center for Pastoral Resilience, a non-profit dedicated to supporting pastors and ministry leaders through training, education, and consultation. Additionally, he co-hosts the podcast So, Tell Me About Your Mother, where he and his co-host explore contemporary dilemmas through their roles as educators, leadership consultants, husbands, and fathers. Kent is passionate about helping leaders navigate modern challenges and reach their full potential.
Outside of work, He enjoys spending relaxed weekends with his wife and three children. His hobbies include fly fishing, hiking, watching Alabama football, and working on music production projects for his church.
