john_bwJohn is a graduate of the University of Alabama. He received his Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi. He joined Blankenship & Seay in 2004. Prior to joining the firm, he worked for the U.S. Office of Personnel Management in Washington, DC. During this time, he provided human resource consulting to other federal agencies including the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Department of the Army, Internal Revenue Service, Department of Homeland Security, and the National Security Agency. John has also performed consulting work for numerous private-sector organizations including the banking, newspaper, home-improvement retail, and shipbuilding industries.

John’s areas of specialty include pre-employment testing, promotional testing, developmental assessment, assessment centers, job analysis, and performance management. He is a member of the American Psychological Association and the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology. John and his wife, Kristin, have two daughters.
